Rooted in Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario since 1992, LCTaylor’s Licensed Insolvency Trustees are dedicated to helping individuals understand every option available to overcome financial challenges. Our mission is to provide clear guidance, practical solutions, and trusted support so people can recover from debt and move toward a stronger financial future.
The Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CAIRP) promotes world class professional standards. They partner with government and regulatory bodies to enhance the insolvency system and promote the ideals of the profession to the public at large.
LCTaylor has been a member of CAIRP since 1992 . [Our founder and President, Leigh Taylor, has been a member since 1979.] We align with their mission of establishing and enforcing professional standards in Canada.
The Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy Canada (OSB) provides a strict Code of Ethics for Licensed Insolvency Trustees. It addresses the information that they must provide to creditors, the treatment of funds, conflicts of interest, and the sale and purchase of the property in a Bankruptcy.
Every Licensed Insolvency Trustee is subject to ongoing oversight by the OSB and must adhere to federal standards of practice. The fees charged for consumer insolvencies are regulated by the federal government.
LCTaylor is proud to be a member of the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce. We support their vision of making Manitoba the best place to live and work. Their mission of championing sustainable economic growth also fits in with our business ethics. We are happy to be a part of this community.
